I checked them out. If you're Australian you're being screwed. Because Razer has their own special Aussie store, they're charging a shit load more for them. The Asia-Pacific store has them cheaper, even when you factor in the exchange rate and shipping costs.

why do you need to spend thousands on a keyboard?

It's a mechanical keyboard. And if you ask that question on a techie/gamer forum you'll get some keyboard snob instructing you on the differences between cherry brown/blue/black and pink, or something like that.

Believe me, you don't know how low class your keyboard is until you go toe to toe with a mechanical junkie.

I keep another wireless real keyboard on the side if I need to do a lot of keyboard work as the key movement is more comfortable on the fingers rather than tapping on a flat surface for a long period.
