    Take the PX.
No one will give GBP8k for a basic pick up with no engine and no wheels. Then again TiT.

How did you blow up the original engine? With only 13,000K on the clock, that should have been a warranty job?

Water in engine = ford Thailand warranty void.

how did the water get in there........ goood question that Ford themselves cannot answer but warranty void either way.

Thinking it would be back together and running I put it up as a trade on my new car and I was offered 540,000 for it.

Cams are now timed correctly however a new tensioner is needed. Ford Thailand have no stock hence the front of the engine is in pieces.

Iam not wanting GBP8k for it and is some idiot offered me that I would have to decline because that currency is of no use to me.

Can you point out where I said it has no wheels or engine please.

Errrm it has the original wheels and it has a new long engine that has a timing issue. It is offered for sale at Bt.160,000 less than was offered as a trade in.

worst case scenario you buy another engine that will cost Bt.80,000.

clearly you are not interested so why don't you fuck off and stop polluting my thread.

Sounds like a real "can of worm". Here's my advice get the truck running and sorted then sell it top $.

And if you're in the business of cars the you know what I'm saying.

The truck you've described should be sent to an auction not pawned off on a community forum.

Why did the guy change his mind? After laying down a 10K deposit, you would have thought it was a done deal.

Did you make clear that the deposit was 100% non-refundable when he handed over the money?

Good luck with the sale BTW.

yep told him clearly the deposit was mine if he changed his mind.

He tells me he went to Ford Pattaya and told them he had bought a vehicle with a timing issue and would they fix it. they said no.

All is good. just got off the phone from an English guy who is a retired diesel engineer who lives not far from me and loves to tinker with car's. He knows the 2.2 puma engine and says it should not be a problem to sort out.

11 months actually. I have placed a deposit on a new vehicle that will be here in 2 weeks.

All Iam concerned with now is getting rid of this one and clearing the finance limiting anymore out of pocket expense, if it is a running concern I might actually make some coin over the payout figure which would be nice.

    Thanks mate.

It can sit in the corner and rot or all I care. I cannot loose more than what is owing on the finance so be it if it sits there.
