Hi all, I'm going to a mates wedding in Chiang Mai and I want to organise the stag party. Could some seasoned Chiang Maiers give me some recomendations of some good bars to go to or a route that you would take on a night out.

Soapys are probably out as I don't reakon everyone will be up for it and I don't think anyone will want any take outs as our wifes will be waiting for us at the hotel. Just a good honest dirty night out.

Also if there are any bar owners out there that that could help stitch up the groom in thier bar let me know.

maybe start at the top end of loi khro road, work your way down then back up again on the other side of the road.

don't know, maybe 15 bars or so with a couple of trollops in each.

then you can top the night off with a few drinks and a good old fashioned punch up at spiceys.

Cheers, that sounds good, are they gogo's down there? Last time I went to Chiang Mai I ended up in a street full of bars that were open till about 5 in the morning, nearly all thai kids I think. Any idea where I was?

There's three go go type places near loi kroh:
Spotlight
Star sex (what ever it's real name is)
Foxy lady
They all have some good nights and some bad.
Star sex (whatever) is up a few flights of stairs; is dark, dingy, real low-life kinda place serves a mixed crowd of Thai farang, an interesting place, it just feels dirty.

Foxy lady does offer private parties (or used to). they have a website, search for go go chiang mai you'll find it.

Spotlight is probably the most popular mostly due to it's location. personally I like Foxy the best.
