Well, you gotta take care of your family- I certainly don't regret that. But you will be taking better care of them long term if, besides the basic family house or 'roof over head', you avoid Thai property. If you include the opportunity cost of not having just kept the money invested in Australian property, cost me around a million sweet ones- a fair wedge of which would have gone to the ex.
So I popped until another building that they finished in 2020 and announced was 'sold out'. And it turns out they're not.
And at Bt5 million for a 40sq.m. "one bedroom" cubicle, I can't say I'm entirely surprised.
Neither am I. Ridiculous.
Don't see the problem. If you don't want to support "racists" don't buy one. They only do this because farangs put up with it.
