Nice to observe that there has been some progress even if it has been raining lately.
It’s time to collect some strength.
Busy hands are needed here.
And the knitting goes on.
There are lots of rebar in the 2nd floor also.
The pillars are due upwards.
Be careful, don’t fall down.
The plastic wrapping are still on the pillars.
There is plenty of scaffolding to work from.
not many safty inspectors and no safty glasses? it look ok keep them coming
Well they do have some sort of hat but I don’t think it is hard hats. Anyway they are protected against the sun
After several days with rain and 2 cancellations of concrete due to the weather it was finely time to fill the casting forms at the second floor.
Finally the concrete truck is here.
A vehicle for the lifting purposes is also in place.
Nice pix Panthip, keep them coming. I like the way the worker's 'Dunny' actually has a roof. Your team is a lot more organised than mine was.
Even if there has been a lot of rain the units for the 2nd floor was installed yesterday. As you’ll probably noticed we are now using another camera that gives much better images. According to the meta data this is a Finepix A600.
The truck with the flooring arrives.
The first elements are lifted in.
Happy faces I can see…Somme seems to be pleased to have a safe underlay.
The flying elements
And lands safely.
Finely we are a bit safer.
More elements are coming in.
The next load is being prepared.
Yes, it really has rained a bit.
The mesh reinforcement is in place and we are ready to start the casting.
The concrete is tapped into the concrete scip,….
is hoisted up
and spread over the floor.
The concrete is being drawn outwards.
Now it looks like a concrete lake.
looking good, thatd make a nice terrace^great view, leave it like that
Looking good Khun Panthip. Keep up the good work.I am impressed. When I return back to Thai from my sojourn in Kuwait I'd like checking it out.
The next phase of the construction has already started. I think that was extremely quickly.
On the right side we have the pipes for the bathroom. In the front you can see some of the balcony. The difference of height is to prevent the rainwater entering into the house.
Home made scaffolding bench.
We have changed the design slightly and selected a curved solution for the balcony. We think this will be nicer than a square design.
Notice the bucket that protects the electricity from the rain.
The trucks have done a muddy job.
Today only a few persons have been working with the preparation for the next phase. Tomorrow the reinforcement gallows will be removed.
This is from the backside of the house.
This is the future upstairs bathroom. Here we have the same height difference due to prevent water flooding the house.
Khun shutterer doing their work. Lovely colour of the rise fields by the way.
Which images will tomorrow show, I wonder.
Looks like you are going to have some great views there. I like the curved front to the balcony. Keep it coming.
Panthip, Looks like a good build. I congratulate you on the thread and your command of English. Look forward to keeping updated on the project.
Unfortunately the photographer Khun Noi has managed to adjust down the image size again even if I several times have mentioned that the minimum size should be 1600 x 1200 in order not to lose details. I hope this will improve when she send the next batch.
The workforce enjoys a well-deserved lunch.
More cement are mixed
in order to start casting the upper pillars.
The chain of buckets is ready
to pass up the concrete slurry.
Nice work on a hot day.
bloody hell, cranes and mixers, hi-tech stuff Panthip
good luck with it, looking excellent
Cheers mates, I wish I could tell you more from the site but that’s impossible since I’m not there.
Well I think we have a very good company building for us. The only thing we do is paying the bills and fumbling around with the photos. There will be some more images coming up during the day.
Anyhow it’s a pleasure for me posting these photos. Have a sunny day.
This seems to be a quiet day at the site. The casting forms have been cleared away and preparations for the ground flooring are underway.
Khun Tep installerer doseringsrør for kjemikalier. Rørene vil ha mange små hull slik at væsken renner ut i jorden. Fungerer dette slik vi håper er bare å dosere mot skade dyr en gang i året. Da er vi forhåpentlig fri for maur og det som verre er. Kostnad for rør og fittings er ca 500 bath.
The skeleton is waiting for more material and skilled workers.
This shot is taken from the road. Not so nice with the power lines along the road but they give me hope for Internet.
The deluge system is progressing.
Prefabrication facilities for the pipes
Looking good! Keep us updated.
Today the ground floor was founded.
Reinforcement mesh in place.
Start pouring the concrete. The bloke in the red square is the architect.
We have a hard working architect.
The concrete is leveled out.
The next area is filled.
The concrete floats nicely.
Trimming the surface.
The”floater” seems happy with his work.
I sure hope that they have placed the pipes are in the right position.
Panthira, I have eventually received a principle drawing for the electricity. Can you please comment on it?
Nice Progress Ponthip. Wishes for continued good fortune.
The bricklayers are ready to commence work. There are some dishes on the photo. Perhaps they plan to start with the kitchen?
Loading ramp for the bricks is ready.
It’s reassuring to see that the top man is in place
The first row of bricks are lined up.
There is nothing wrong with the spirit of Khun Bricky. It is nice to state that they are wetting the foundation.
This Khun Bricky has chosen another approach
The top man has started on the preparation to install the stairs.
Overview picture.
The bricklaying is rapidly progressing.
The walls has already started to take shape. This is moving on nicely.
It has been a busy day on the site today. Lots of people and good progress.
The brickwork moves on rapedly.
Khun shutter are busy making the forms for the stairs.
The rough boards are being assembled.
There are a lot of rebar in the stairs.
The angle is checked.
Concrete is poured into the frame
and the steps are smoothed out.
Preparation of the roof construction is under way
and are welded in position.
The roof girders is sorted out.
The welder is ready to start on another pillar.
He is making good progress.
The girders are weldedtogether.
The duty of this lot is to look after the pipes.
Dear K. Panthip,
Could you reiterate for me please, the reason for covering the cement piling with plastic sheets?
Thanks.
