Lol, Mike,... those poles have been known to take root and start growing so you might be OK in a few years . Was that a service you laid in yourselves or was it already there!!?

They would have been put in by the only other house in the subdivision, the house in the background. Obviously they did not want to spend more than they had to ! The owner is one of the local cops, probably was not getting enough tea money to afford concrete posts. He probably will not want to contribute now either....
There are 3 more “posts” between our land and the main cable along the road, they can stay as they are, as can those between our land and the other house. Not my problem !
