"Anyone who holds on to the ability to see beauty never grows old" - Franz Kafka
("Jeder, der sch die Fähigkeit erhält, Schönes zu erkennen, wird nie alt werden")
I'm not a botanist nor particularly interested in the science behind flowers or plants, I just enjoy them - looking at them, smelling them and, with Australian or S/African wildflowers with their felt/pelt-like covering, feeling them. Flowers, trees etc ... which is why I've had hiking as one of my favourite hobbies for decades.
On a recent trip to Western Australia it seems we arrived just at the right time to see the floral splendour and idiosyncrasies on display - no idea of the name of most.

I'm not sure how many photos I can post, but splitting them up into several posts is better to appreciate them.
