In Sweden and the reality of a punk gig, i saw them (in London) and being off tune, half cut and disorganised was part of the who thing but this gives you an idea, other bands then were similar - agricultural but that's the whole point, they learnt in a living room and played like it - excellent. Finishes with the Stooges tribute and Sid is already down the H road.
takes us right back to the first punk band - The Stooges about 10 years before it was recognised and in the UK - the one and only godfather of punk - iggy, he rescued Bowie musically in return ..well lets just say they were close.

A couple of years before I was in my prime, but a choooooooooooooooon nevertheless:
Empire Of The Sun: We Are The People (remix)
There are better remixes about than this too, but it's all good after the beans have flowed.
Hal's midnight sesh live from Bogota:
Living the dream in Bangkok a few moons ago.
Oh uh
And another
First year at secondary school in the early 1990s
Stiill a choon
Top North Manchester band for me...that were big in Greece, bizarrely:
Massively underrated. They didn't fit the Manc style though...
What was the first song that turned you on?
About 14 I heard this and was like WTF.
Not sure if it was a good thing or bad. You know where the devils rock music leads.
^ My mum loved Nat Cole and many of the 40- 60's singers, Dad was more Jazz but once my sisters started Uni and Boyfriends along came rock and roll...i still play all the music types across all the decades but imo its got less creative and most of the shit these days i'd not even inflict on enemies. We seem to have lost the art of musicians writing music, playing instruments and crafting lyrics.
a different Street
another street, not easy to find a copy without the wanker extending it to 7 minutes - Bono the twat i mean....another bloke obsessed with himself
a less obsessed street
Saw this bloke in the Mid 70s in Cambridge.. in a pub ...great night..i was young.
I always think of Jenny Agutter in the shower whenever i hear this song..
So watching Reservoir Dogs and thought Dilly's Carlsberg bitch piss reminiscing brought this to mind. easy there fella
RIP Gerry btw
hate the stuff myself, get given it and politely give it away, freebies always welcome by Japs
