It has been ages since I worked through the catalogue of great Australian movies but this recent effort from Robert Conolly has inspired me to do so

The Dry

Atmospheric Aussie outback extravaganza with Eric Bana as a cop returning to the home town he was ostracised from 20 years earlier.

The landscape makes for mesmerising cinematography.

Kind of reminded me of the 2006 mood murder drama Jindabyne which I am now trying to download again after 15 years.
