Sort of like how I am feeling about TD right now
Should be a good one. Believe he was only 17 when he recorded this. Amazing for such a young guy.Originally Posted by S Landreth

Another young one,....Matthew Curry (matthewcurry.com - Home). I was listening to an interview and he just entered his senior high school year, this month.
If he stays grounded and focused he could be another great blues legend one day.
A partial review from his album that was recently released:
Matthew Curry isn’t old enough to buy a beer at the corner store, and he probably only has a learner’s permit for driving, but he’s obviously obsessed and infatuated with the blues! There’s no question that the 16-year-old electric lead guitarist, singer, and songwriter has some chops. At age eleven, a veteran blues musician gave him the nickname of Little Big Man. It’s great when veteran musicians take a young prodigy under their wings to show him the ropes and tricks of the trade.
Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.
Last one. This for hardcore Blues folks. Like me. A pair of the best old time blues guys in my opinion.
Singing a song appropriate for the times.

It’s a commercial free (listener supported) Blues station with NPR updates out of Illinois State University that I listen to while on the net.
They play just Blues and one day each week (I forget which day) for one hour, twice the same day they’ll have a new Blues segment playing just new Blues tunes sometimes accompanied with artist interviews.
If you open the station up with Real Player Stream you can record from it and add it to your iTunes selection to listen to while away from the computer.
