Killing Innocents - What's the punishment?

Israel claim that they warned the town on Sunday before they bombed it killing the 30+ children. They claim that it was Hezbolah's fault because they had fired rockets from there.

Israel blamed the people of the town for not leaving and it was there fault that they were killed.

Who's job is it during a war to protect the innocents? Can you blame the people of a town for not leaving their homes?

Is it not against parts of the Geneva convention to kill innocents? Who is going to punish them?

Who allowed Hezbollah to position 14000 rockets along that border?

Who is going to punish them?

I'm glad Israel is our ally. They're very loyal and always advise us before they attack.

Who attempted to assassinate Israeli Ambassador Shlomo Argove on June 3rd, 1982 in London ?

What asassinated Lebanese president-elect Gemayel just before his inaugaration in September 1982 ? Why would the Syrians do such a thing ?

And for that matter what happened to all the Christians that used to be in power in Lebanon ?

Why did Arafat get expelled from Lebanon after the crisis in 1982 ?

Why didn't Israel kill Arafat when he was a big, fat target as he left lLebanon on the cruise line Atlantis as he was expelled from Lebanon by the Arabs ?

^What did happen to the Christian Lebanese who allied with Isreal? I was in Bkk watching the Isreali pullout from Lebanon. It came out of the blue. I remember watching the tanks head for the Isreali boarder and about a mile back the camera zoomed in on the Christian Lebanese running for their lives towards the Israeli boarder. I wonder how many were allowed in?

Obviously a war crimes tribunal must be held. But who is actually ever going to be charged?

And how many civilians must die before someone stops getting a free pass in the name of 'self defense?' Look at how many have died under the US occupation of Iraq.

If the kids are decoying missile sites, then the moral crime is with the party that stations them there.

I'd like to see Ariel Sharon charged. That stands as much of a chance as Nasrallah.

Bolloux mate. A few weeks ago the YIDS asked the residents of certain town in the south of Lebanon to evacuate. When the poor buggers got on the move they bomb the shit out of them killing tens of women and children.

The YIDS are lying cnut and can not be trusted.

    Were the Qana bodies staged?

These questions and others are beginning to mount as the discrepancies in Hizzbolla's version of events begins to fall apart.

I think Israel's doing a fantastic job of recruiting many more Hizbollah nutters than Hizbollah could ever have done by themselves. So in the end, more Israeli innocents will pay for the crimes of their leaders by being in the wrong place at the wrong time when those new recruits strike. 'Twas ever thus.

And I was sickened by the sight of some American on the telly the other day preening himself over the huge amounts of medical supplies he said the USA was supplying to the Lebanese. What he forget to mention was that his administration was also supplying the weaponry which killed and injured them in the first place...

Exactly. The more Israel bombs the more people worldwide are willing to join Hezbollah.

How nice of America to contribute band-aids for the injuries caused by American weaponry. Stinks to high heaven, it does.

CAIRO, Egypt - Rising Arab anger over the Israeli offensive against Hezbollah appears to have pushed conservative rulers in the region to refocus their criticism away from the Shiite guerrillas and onto Israel.

The most dramatic turn has come from Saudi Arabia, a U.S. ally whose king initially rebuked Hezbollah for carrying out "uncalculated adventures" with a cross-border raid that captured two Israeli soldiers. This week, however, King Abdullah warned that "if the option of peace fails as a result of Israeli arrogance, then the only option remaining will be war."

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, an important mediator in the Arab-Israeli conflict for the last 25 years, now mixes his condemnation of Hezbollah's move with sharp criticism of Israel's response.

It was "disproportionate, to say the least," Mubarak said in remarks posted Friday on Time magazine's Web site. "Israel's response demonstrated a collective punishment against the Palestinians and the Lebanese. The bloodshed and the destruction caused by the Israelis went way too far."

Much of the initial reaction among Sunni Arab rulers was fueled by a dislike of Hezbollah and wariness of the guerrillas' Iranian backers, but that has been swept aside by a flood public anger at Israel.

Popular opinion in favor of Hezbollah has swelled as newspapers and television stations have shown graphic pictures of the suffering amid climbing civilian casualties.
