Oh dear, nor did he make a "legal ruling" that the information was "bullshit".

It really is quite gobsmacking at how you're distorting this to fit your own preconceived notions, truly a case or reading only what you want to believe.

There are, at most, 50 names on that list. And not only that, but they are catergorised into camps that only disbelieve one or more certain aspects of global warming not the entire theory.

Those that catergorically "believe global warming is not occuring", one. That's your 50% of scientists today!?! That's the trouble with simply repeating something, it doesn't always make it come true.

A judge is not a scientist. He can make a ruling that a video featuring a prominent politician is inappropriate for schoolchildren, but it's certainly not proof global warming isn't real; it is.

It's a natural cyclical process except this time there are unprecedented high levels of CO2 and other greenhouse gases that appear to be speeding up the process.

Time will tell; preventing schoolchildren from getting all the facts won't help.

It's not a 'for' or 'against' issue, Headmaster.
Everyone admits that the globe is geting warmer it's just the hype involved in how much man has influenced it or possibly the sun is stronger or possibly it's a cyclical thing and on and on...

So, which "class" is involved in the hype?

The revolutionary united workers front in alliance with pinko fairy fake scientists who want to disown all car-owners?
Or what conspiracy theory is at work here?

Working-class people know it is a scam to get the cash out of our wallet.

The middle class just like to bully the working class & will use any old stick to beat them with - like banning smoking in pubs. They have a superiority complex (as we have seen on this thread) & can't fathom the basic fact that global warming or not, there are bigger problems facing the world today.

Look at what's happening in Burma & some people are bothered about what light bulbs we use & stuff? They have opinions but no hearts.

Interesting, usually it goes the other way, like the commies are using the green movement for their grass-roots networking. Hmm...

One doesn't exclude the other, one is an acute crisis, the other an ongoing issue which may well affect our children.

But what if there were a £100,000 to prove it isn't man made, nobody would be able to claim that either.

So without conclusive proof, one way or another, you're convinced your side of the argument is the right one?

There is no conclusive proof for either argument, but you are more vehement and scathing in your own defence, almost to the point of religious fervor.

The weight of evidence says that global warming/climate change is a reality and that man's contribution to enviromental degredation cannot be ignored, you can argue the toss all you like, but you just come across as selfish, ignorant and gullible. Erm yeh, just like a Daily Mail reader.

Actually I think it is better to do something than to do nothing, just in case.. you know for the future.
In fact Europe is very enviromentaly pro active anyway, the main objections to what would seem overwhelmingly obvious outcomes come from the US establishment and those who's interests lay in continuing deregulation of carbon emissions and pollutants.

Then you don't have a case.

You may as well be arguing about the existence of God.

It is very telling that the surface temperature of Mars is rising at an identical rate as the Earth. Little green men in little green Range Rovers, or an event that is out of our hands?

QED; after nearly 24 hours of your moronic ramblings, neither do you.

What will the Daily Mail have in store for you tomorrow?

Great way to win an argument after over twenty posts on the matter. You can't prove what you are saying so you tell me to show you're talking bullshit? It is not the position of person being told something to be the one to prove it & you know it.

At least you have finally admitted defeat - in a way.

    Here - this is yours

Maybe you're not as smart as you think you are?

One of my few ventures into Issues is when I see something about Global warming. Is there global warming ? I say yes but to the cause who knows. One day you will read in a report in the paper that something is contributing to this and the day after another report will conteract this.

Unfortunately to many people and organisations are jumping and the bandwagon of green issues and global warning. It is also a way for Governments to take extra tax from us under the pretext that it will be used to combat the effects of global warming.

I reckon a poll in the Captains Lounge (to give it more coverage) would be interesting. Two questions 1. Is there Global warming 2. In your opinion what has caused this. Will set this up tomorrow.

Yet you've manage to extrapolate from an article that actually says no such thing: "Top Judge Declares Global Warming a Myth"?

Who is trying to convince who? There is clearly a debate on the existence and causes of global warming and it's even more clear where you stand on that issue. However 'citing' articles such as this help your case not one jot.
