Myself, I am kinda glad it is in a warming trend.
It was the shits when I was a little kid and had to keep chasing the Wolly Mammoths out of my sand box cause they kept stepping on my toy wheels I had invented.

"articulate",,, does that mean that you can move your fingers separately or together and get them to do what you want??
'Articulate'...in this case, I believe 'bloviate' is the more appropriate term...
"It seems if scientists don't express the views of the political establishment, they will be threatened and that is a discomforting thought." Alabama state climatologist John Christie, a professor of atmospheric science at the University of Alabama in Huntsville.
Better get on board, eh?
Don't question authority.
The United Nations graph below is one of the longest time series relevant to global temperature trends that is based on actual direct measurements.
You can see that there was a warming trend going on long before industrialization -- which did not hit Finland to any significant degree until the 20th century. So the warming is a natural phenomenon, not one caused by industrialization.

That graph is crap. It's obvious that the highs tail off AFTER the industrial revolution if you ask me. The lows only kick in after the 1900s. I'm getting a bit bored of this topic. If anyone seriously wants to defend the premise that not pouring shit into the air, into the seas and rivers, and chopping down our rainforests is a bad idea, then bring it on. Otherwise, bring some proper arguments and evidence to the table.
The truth is out there, but then I'm stuck in here.
Yes, the global warming debate is a pseudo-debate, not a core problem debate.Originally Posted by Wallace

The simple core question is:
Is there any good or useful in the shit we are littering nature with ?
The answer: No
The conclusion: Stop it immediately !!
Indeed, science in the US has been under constant attack since under the bible-hugging Bush regime.Originally Posted by Boon Mee
Comprehension?? You didn't get my point did you? You were criticising Boon Me for posting a link but not posting "some analysis of your own" but you did the exact same thing with that post of yours that I quoted, the only difference being that you cut and pasted a bit of it. Hardly "analysis".
Oh, and try not to fall into the same trap that most posters on this forum tend to do, which is to end a reasonably constructed post with a one line insult.
