CHIANG MAI, 3rd December 2017 (NNT) – Chiang Mai province has unveiled new tourism routes welcoming tourists to re-discover the province in new perspectives.

Government agencies and private firms in Chiang Mai have joined hands to welcome tourists in this high season with activities and festivals, along with recommendations for new tourism routes aimed to give visitors new experiences in this popular tourist destination of Thailand.

The new tourism routes feature spectacular attractions which include the Royal Park Rajapruek which is home to vast flower displays, the Queen Sirikit Botanical Garden where visitors can enjoy the tree-top view of garden on Thailand's longest canopy walkway, Wat Umong which is an ancient temple home to a tunnel at the heart of a forest linked to a spectacular stupa, Wat Sakithaka (Wat Pha Lat) temple where visitors can immerse themselves within the sound of chirping birds and the waterfall.

The new tourism routes are categorized in themes of love, faith, fog, and flowers, in keeping with the Tourism Authority of Thailand's campaign.

Chiang Mai province is also promoting sports tourism and health-focused tourism, while promoting new experiences to both Thai and international visitors in this tourism season.
