Uzbek woman Refika Shakirova looked weary when she met police late last month after she escaped from a gang of three men who allegedly assaulted and raped her, demanded a ransom and detained her for nine days.

Photos of Ms Shakirova being handcuffed and tortured were also handed to officers as evidence. She told them she obtained the photos from the Line App of her boyfriend, who received them from the gang.

Investigators from the Crime Suppression Division (CSD) spent nearly a week searching for the suspects, but what they found eroded......

Well considering Uzbek's are the No. 1 choice for the Arabs, she would have been well used to taking it up the gary glitter anyway.

In the second pic there's someone standing just outside the door
Shouldn't they be rushing in to stop the photos being taken in case they get used as evidence?

I have to admire the Thais, how often would you see the Western media print a story about a woman who lied about a rape? PC does not trump facts here sometimes.

Yes, there are "legitimate" rapes, but there are other false accusations that result from purposeful lies or mental illness.

Will they be checking her paperwork/work permit?

They've probably checked her over "real good"...
