Question Christmas Pudding and Christmas Crackers

As a newcomer to both this board and to Christmas in Thailand I wonder if one of you can advise if I am able to buy Christmas Pudding and/or Christmas crackers in Thailand. My preference would be Marks and Spencers but Tesco would also be fine.

I am currently in Bangkok but will move up to the Udon Thani / Nong Khai area in December.

Thanks in advance for any helpful advice.

    Christmas Puds

I don't know about Christmas crackers, but Christmas puddings are usually available at Tops supermarkets. And I would guess that upmarket foodhalls at Emporium and Siam Paragon might have them too.

I'm not sure if they stock puddings and crackers, but there are branches of M&S in the Siam Center, Siam Square, and in the Central Plaza, Bangna. There are other branches in BKK, check Google to find them.

Had a catalog for Gourmet Gallery come through the post yesterday. Don't know why.

They seem to have everything you need food wise for Christmas that can be delivered with 3 days pre-order.

    Gourmet Gallery

No crackers though. I think I get them from Villa normally.

All our 'regular' customers coming out for Xmas know to bring a pudding or 2 for us.
(always try to serve Xmas pud with ice-cream + Captain Morgans on the aft of 25th in the bar) Put your requests in to your mates NOW.. :-)

    Thanks everyone for your help.

As I am stopping over in Dubai when travelling back to Thailand I don't think that I will attempt to take either foodstuff or crackers in my lugage.

M&S Central Chitlom sounds the best idea to date.

Big Dave formerly had them imported direct from the UK purely and simply because the local made puddings were shite.

I have no idea what the chefsxp ones taste like but for 144 baht I would not be expecting anything special.
