Bit of background info first, I spend half of the year in Thailand and half in the UK, I'm self employed and want to haul my business into the computer age!!! I want to set up a web site but I'll readily admit I'm baffled!! Do I need to set up the web site in the UK or can it be done in Thailand? I would appreciate constructive advice and am willing to pay someone for their expertise! Thanks boys and girls!

You can set it up from anywhere in the world and host it anywhere in the world, it has no relevance to where you are.

You could try and contact K1Klass, I know he does all that kind of stuff, and hes based in the UK. He`s usually lurking around the board.

Design & hosting are two completely different things... DD is correct, where you are physically has no bearing on where your website is hosted and who maintains it...

I think there's about 4 of us on here who do this stuff. I'm happy to help if I can (via PM) even if it means advising you talk to one of the other guys to get the best person for the job.
