You can buy them most places nowadays. Lotus and Powerbuy in Central or Robinson will have them. They run 10,000 baht up.

Overrated pieces of crap from what I've seen and from talking to people who have literally thrown them away after quickly growing bored with them.
The main complaints I hear are screens too small, no CD/DVD, very low battery life.
Worth also checking out some of the smaller notebooks, e.g. the 12" screen jobs
