That's what I'm wondering, Jet. Biden goes to Mass and the priest applies the ash to his forehead and then Biden goes before the cameras. Nowadays they apply makeup when they sit in committee (or wherever) if they know camera lights will be blazing on them. So how did VP Joe's assistant apply makeup without covering his smudge?
Sometimes I think Obama chose Joe because he knew Joe and his tendency to be stupid would draw the media attention away from Obama and his gaffs. Think Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis.
