Biden is more respected than you can know. I am an American, living now (ret.) in Mexico and I said to my husband, apx. 2 years ago, when I was pulling for Hillary, "watch...whoever wins the Democratic Primary, will be wise to pick Biden as VP"...and guess what? I was right.I've been listening to Biden for years now and though he can put his foot in his mouth at times, who doesn't? He is an on-the-fly kinda guy, but he is REAL.He had a very tragic start in politics(wife and 1 yr-old daughter killed in car crash just weeks after his being elected to the Senate) and he is a very loving father to his 2 sons by his deceased wife and to his little daughter and current wife, Jill.He actually has a very high IQ and is no dummy, believe me. Compare THAT to "W" for the last 8 years, lol...and compare how very EVIL Cheney and Rove have been and all that this current administration has gotten away with to what Obama/Biden can (and will) do in contrast.No comparison! Obama is making some very confident and wise choices for his cabinet, not the least of which is Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State.She will be much more welcomed by foreign dignataries and leaders that Condie Rice ever was.And she will be much more effective. Last of all, if (God Frobid!) anything were ever to happen to Obama,I have MUCH more confidence in Biden than EVER I would have in Palin! OMG! Biden has been chair of foreign relations for years and knows his way around this world.Rest easy Brit, this team will do all it can to help the economy as well as restore the faith of the USA in other nations. I don't know you well enough to know how often you're right, (newbie here) but on Biden, you're dead wrong, sorry. Thanks for allowing me to comment.
