If it makes you happy, then that's all that matters. I agreed with JJ though and thought you would have gone a more ORIGINAL paint scheme.

Well I am going for a old school hot rod look, and flames are done in many ways and thats what I want and thats how I am going to paint it no matter what you and the wife and a few other people say.

3 weeks for paintwork is not long. I had to wait like to 6 to 8 weeks for mine to be done.

Just had the first test ride and the bike run well but got sick of the handle bars after about 15 min, The engine has some serous power and bags the rear wheel with a twist of the wrist. So still a few things to change but getting there

I love the fact that people kept questioning the riding position, you go out and test it and have to change it cause it pissed you off.

I honestly couldn't see it lasting, although I did imagine you riding in a really uncomfortable position just to make a point.

How big are they ape hangers going to be?

I am tring half apes as full apes would be just to high to reach, atleast when I was bent over I had a good grip on the bars and with the way engine delivers a huge amount of torq in such a sort time it may just get a little hard to hang onto

Put it this way the TLR is a lot smoother on the power, as the buell is just plain brutal but then what did I expect from a Big bore kit, Hi compression pistions with andrews N6 cams, Thunderstorm heads from NRHS and a 42mm Mukuni carb,
and I recond it would have enough power to tow MTD yellow submarine with the fat barsted on it

its been 6 months just getting all the bits here. OCC built one in a couple of hours on the stage and then gave it away

One would hope so, I've seen a vfr 400 pushing a VMAX at 100kmph+

I've seen a VMAX pushing an NSR250 at 160kmph +
