Thread: Marriage in Thailand then tourist visa to the UK?

Could my Chinese national girlfriend get married in Bangkok and I get married in Thailand then apply for a tourist visa to the UK and then request the right to remain or something due to job offer etc etc.

Been down that road as well !

Cannot legally work in Uk on a Tourist visa - married or not- and would still have to return to Thailand when Tourist visa ran out.

Applying for a residence visa then is very difficult .
Best way is to get a fiancee visa and after married in UK then apply for residence visa - valid for 2 years - this allows working and at the end can be converted to a permanent visa .
