    BO's Terrorist Friends

    Deserves it's own thread, eh?

Obama Admitted His Work With Terrorist Bill Ayers Qualified Him For US Senator (Video)
In this must see video Barack Obama admits that one of his major qualifications for political office was his work with terrorist Bill Ayers. In this video Obama also calls Rev Meeks, Father Pfleger, and Jeremiah Wright his friends...
I am in my second term but it's true that certainly Senator Trotter and Congressman Rusher(?) have been in elected office longer than I have. I can't deny that. I would argue though that my experience previous to elected office equips me for the job. I have a background as an attorney. I've represented affordable housing organizations that build affordable housing something that's a major issue in the district. I've chaired major philanthropic organizations efforts in the city like the Chicago Annenberg Challenge that gave $50 million to prompt school reform effors throughout the city"

The evidence is piling up boys!

Ayers Was on Woods Fund Board with Obama When He Stepped on Flag

Politics | Sun, Oct 5, 2008 at 8:40:39 am PST
Barack Obama was much older than 8 when William Ayers was photographed stepping on a US flag in 2001, for an article in which Ayers said he had “No Regrets” for his violent actions in the Weather Underground.
In fact, at the same time Ayers was in a Chicago alley desecrating the flag, he and Barack Obama were serving on the board of the Woods Fund together: PolitiFact | Obama served on board with Ayers.
Deborah Harrington, president of the Woods Fund, a philanthropic organization in Chicago, said Obama was a director from 1994 through 2001. That overlaps Ayers’ time as a director by three years. It also means Obama served with Ayers for the final months of 2001, after Ayers made his comments to the New York Times.

    Sounds pretty damning to us...

Did I ever tell you I met that Barack O'Bama at an IRA Army council meeting in Belfast in the 70's? He was selling heroin from his Afghan contacts to raise money to pay for weapons for the Provos and Black September. He called himself Al-Barack the Bomber back then, his nom-de-terror was "The Ocelot". He said he was going to try and build a worldwide terrorist power base so that when he became president of the USA he'd have enough psycho henchmen to shoot all those who objected when he declared himself Caliph and imposed Sharia law. Feel free to stick that on a blog, Booners

It's even worse than that, he's an academic specialising in Educational Theory, a direct threat to the Republican way of life

He was acquitted due to a prosecutorial impropriety.

Sometimes I wonder if I'm not actually missing out by having Boon Mee on ignore, in some way depriving myself of his input and contributions.

And then I'll see a thread title like this one and realise that I'm not.

This is one of those sentences that makes me realise that I have no - and can have no - understanding at all of what goes on in the American psyche.

    Folks,

The Bill Ayers story is very OLD.

    Very, very, old.

It's not going to stick, Boon.

In fact, many think this is backfiring on McCain.

It's a cheap political campaign ploy. Obama was 8 years old when the bombings happened.

    Obama has disavowed this behavoir.

I however, think bombing the Pentagon and Congress is a good start.

Did I say this? You bet I did.

Is the absolute raving loopiness of the right wingers on the forum compared with the far more balanced approach of the left a fair reflection of the real world?

    You and me both.

Actually wasn't there talk a while back of making it a criminal act to damage the flag, wonder what became of that? Realised how utterly wanked it was I expect.

The GOP is still hammering on the Ayers alleged link.

The problem is, I don't think it'll stick. There are too many problems in the US right now.

This is the old 60s, 'Nam protest era.

    Erm....it was 40 years ago.

And honestly, who has killed more innocent civilians and done more damage? The Pentagon or Bill Ayers?

Here is a response to Palin's "terrorist" claim. Interesting that Palin uses the term "terrorist" in this day and age over an incident that is.....40 years old.

    Note: this is biased.
