^ Yes, you have reminded us of this several times. xie xie ni.
my point was that it is long past time for the world community to admit that the state of israel in its present geographic location is a failed experiment. we need to try something else. despite your oh so typical histrionic inclinations, there's no need to bomb israel. however, the govt. will probably need to be given a time frame when they will have to leave for greener pastures (montana? new zealand? phitsanaluk?)....and if they won't leave, then peace loving nations will have to form a coalition of the willing to help them find the door.
the state of israel is the one true barrier to peace in the ME.
it was a mistake. are we going to spend another 60 years with our heads buried in the sand pretending that a mistake wasn't made?
and as far as blackgang is concerned...he's not worth the bullet. no matter, his liver will surely give out soon enough
so, so lame.
here's the quote in context....

do you (or does someone you know here in thailand) have kids that study in a public school?
are they buddhists because the school they attend teaches buddhism?
i know plenty of people who attended religious schools in america who didn't practice the faith of the institution. their parents sent them there for any number of reasons....better teachers or curriculum...or perhaps they just needed a bit of discipline.
you've never met anyone who did this?
maybe you just need to get out more.

^ are you also going to deny that the RC school he attended had his religion as Muslim and he studied Islamic studies for 2 hours a week?

you've finally done it.. the pressure of real sensibility has just gotten to you, this is the most venomous thing I've ever heard.. and from a supposed libby at that....Originally Posted by raycarey

The Catholic school: Nedra Pickler of the Associated Press reports that "documents showed he enrolled as a Muslim" while at a Catholic school during first through third grades.
OK, let's take a look at that article in the link YOU provided---because it will help everyone here see how disingenuous you are...
Interviews by The Associated Press at the elementary school in Jakarta found that it's a public and secular institution that has been open to students of all faiths since before the White House hopeful attended in the late 1960s.Akmad Solichin, the vice principal at SDN Menteng 1, who added, "Yes, most of our students are Muslim, but there are Christians as well. Everyone's welcome here ... it's a public school."Obama's mother, divorced from Obama's father, married a man from Indonesia named Lolo Soetoro, and the family relocated to the country from 1967-71. At first, Obama attended the Catholic school, Fransiskus Assisis, where documents showed he enrolled as a Muslim, the religion of his stepfather.
The document required that each student choose one of five state-sanctioned religions when registering _ Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, Catholic or Protestant. Gibbs said he wasn't sure why the document had Obama listed as a Muslim.
"Senator Obama has never been a Muslim," Gibbs said. "As a six-year-old in Catholic school, he studied the catechism."
actually it was a particularly weak strawman.Originally Posted by DrivingForce

So he was brought up as a Muslim.
Prayed in Arabic to a Muslim God.
Attended Islamic studies at school.
he is Muslim, end of story!
Will your next denial be that the Earth is not round?
