^KW, what is your problem? Would you be happier if I said I am renting a motorbike and living in a Thai-style room in Pattaya?
FFS.

^Ant, be careful. You also love collector Mercs. I'll never take you to task on that one.
ah...gentlemen...can we get back on track...no VWs or Audis ok...
just Honda & Toyota will do nicely for this discussion...

oh crap, does that mean i just mentioned it. the BMW that is?

KW, please take a chill pill. Maybe that's ecstacy, I don't know. But really, you need to cool it down. I know you have an SUV and I'm cool with that. I'm quite a bit older than you and have earned the right to have any toys I want, right?

Thats a lot for a 24 year old motor!Originally Posted by klongmaster

^X5 is nothing. You're so easily impressed.

Why not one of these? The write-up in the Bangkok Post a few months ago said it was nicer than both of them. Dunno what depreciation would be like though.

If that is the sole purpose, then big back seat and a 2.0L engine would be best to enjoy better fuel consumption and possible tax benefitsOriginally Posted by Mr Earl

Yes...that's what I didn't know...hard to compare them when you have to drive from one dealer to another!...Originally Posted by Mr Earl
I'm set on the 2.4 though despite the increased fuel economy because the 2.0l is underpowered for the body weight...Originally Posted by Travelmate

Nissan Teana?
I don't like the look of them, but you might.
I prefer the look of the Accord. The Camry looks nothing special, inside or out.
I haven't driven any of them as I'm not a executive saloon kind of guy.

The new Hyundai looks like an Accord!
if it is looks you're after
Teana costs about the same as the others but has none of the fancy extra so not really in the picture...Originally Posted by EmperorTud

Both Honda and Camry offer DVD screens but Nissan do not...no Bluetooth or reverse screen either...

Can either run on E85 ? Is one likely to be better when they switch to E20 instead of E10 ?
In Australia the Honda Accord is sold as a premium vehicle while the camry is the cheap and cheerful larger car.
The Aussie Magna, Falcon and Commodore are way behind the Camry and the camry fits my (not very) petite body much better than the commodore in particular.

PS good luck with the shopping.

Actually, if your primary purpose is impressing clients (especially if they're foreign), for the same money, I'd buy an older S class or E class Mercedes. I guess it depends on what you need it for, but remember both Camry and Accord are basically still considered entry level economy cars in the west.
*edited, well not exactly entry level, but every family can own one. Not much status.

Och, ye dinnae make a decision tae buy a car based on a DVD player laddie.
All that stuff can be fitted aftermarket, including Bluetooth and it will be cheaper and better quality than OEM.
One more vote for the Accord. Waaaaaaay better handling. Honda was paying the down payment (10%) a while back. They still doing that?
Just out of interest is there any particular reason it has to be a sedan? You could go for something like a Toyota Wish as well. That would be perfect for touring.
