I'm tiring of all this election crap also. I can't wait to get back out to the country away from TV and Internet.
Still, I hope McCain will not pander to the Xtian right.
The only focal issue there is abortion, he's clearly defined about that.
The only catch is whether his VP will share the same ideology. Though he's also clearly stated that his VP with share his core beliefs. This would put Mitt Romney in the VP slot it seems.

Yes, the TV in the US was awful. Histerical, constant, loud. I can tolerate the internet because I can pick and choose the style, info, and format. But I've largely tuned out. Nothing new to gain, really. Just speculation about who will win.

Still, I hope McCain will not pander to the Xtian right.

I am starting to think the Romney as a VP is possibly positive.

^He could do a lot worse than Romney.

Funny thing that McCain has many excellent choices for his VP:

    Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour
    Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush
    Florida Gov. Charlie Crist
Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina
    Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee
Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison of Texas
Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-D) of Connecticut
    Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin
    Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty
Former Rep. Rob Portman of Ohio
    Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney
    South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford
Sen. John Thune of South Dakota
    Bobby Jindal of Louisiana

While it seems the Barry O. field of choices is severely limited.

I totally agree, Barry "the body" looks fantastic. I'm actually jealous of his courage and athletic prowess.
A big thumbs up for Barry.

I just don't think it will help him the election much.

so earl, which is going to be more of a problem for their respective campaigns.....

the photo of obama swimming in the ocean on his summer vacation....or mccain not remembering how many houses he owns?

"I think -- I'll have my staff get to you," McCain replied. "It's condominiums where -- I'll have them get to you."
    washingtonpost.com

or maybe he was just having a 'senior moment'.

Barry's recent trips to Kenya might not be viewed well.
Apparently, the leader of the Kenyan opposition party, Raila Odinga, claims to be a cousin and close friend of Barack Obama, and from all indications he is right. his first ever trip to Kenya, in August of 2006, he rallied in support of Odinga at public forums. Obama even called him a few times in the middle of his critical New Hampshire campaigning. In Some more details:...........................

    ....................

Personally, I don't care if Obama is black, white, hispanic, Chinese, male or female, young or old. But he is involving himself with dangerous allies very early in his career. It's unimaginable to think that America's leading presidential contender is a "close friend and cousin" of, and is actively consulting with, someone like this during his presidential campaigning.

It is also unimaginable that he has said almost nothing about this seemingly perfidious relationship. And what's worse, his mesmerized Democratic Party and the press corps have decided not to ask.

Hey, if your wife ran her own biz and had lots of property (which was the Q, how many homes do you and your wife own?) would you know, ray? Oh, ya, you are a socialist so you just rent from guv housing so you have none. Pity. Bambam has a million dollar home in Chicago thanks to Rezco. Really democratic.

^She's a bimbo heiress Jet, not a businesswoman. That's why he dumped his handicapped first wife and hitched up with her. Don't paint it as something it's not.
