what you need;
1. the 200 litre tank as below
2. the 1 m cement pipe (4 inch. wide)
3. the 3 ways joint (4 inch.)
4. 4-5 pieces of brick
5. soil and rice husks

the charcoal from this stove is very high quality because it uses the outside heat to dry up the wood

need 2 sticks (or something nicer) each side, and another 2 on the back as the frame before we covered the tank with the soil

after put the wood in tank we closed the tank by laying the bricks and used the soil to stick it

*the lit needs to be cut as a square about 25 x 25 cm for getting the air in the stove
and the hole has to be at the bottom

This stove doesn't need the fire inside the tank to burn the wood.
It works like an oven.
just set the fire in front of the stove and let the heat dry up the wood

how long time should the fire burn in front to get good result ?

Probably depends on thickness of wood you want to turn into coal..?!?

the burning is a bit complicated. and yeah it depends on how thick the wood is.

the first 30 mins the humidity in the wood will be driven which you can see from the smoke- it's gray. Then the wood will fire itself. Afterthat you have to close the stove by using the clay to cover the bricks, and leave a small hole for oxygen to get in.
About 3-4 hours later the smoke will be brown-yellowish and have a strong smell which means the chemical and tar are driven away. This process will give you the Wood Vinegar, you can collect the vinegar by using the bamboo covering the pipe and hang the plastic bottle on it. If you're doing the farm like rice, vegetables, fruites etc, you can use the vinegar to protect yr farm from insects, and also adjust the soil. **It's pretty expensive though - 100 per litre

Then you have to wait until the smoke is light blue, take the bamboo out of the pipe and close the hole a lil bit more. When the smoke looks clear, I mean you can see through it. Now close the hole and use the clay covered in the cloth to put on the pipe. Finish!!!!
Leave it about 12 hours for cooling down. Open the stove you'll get a really good quality of charcoal. No cancer!!

Totally about 24 hours.

Another good thing of this burner is you can use a very small wood to burn. No need to cut the tree, just take the branches

It looks like their teaching there. Is it a Royal Project.

The wood vinegar, I've heard good things about it, can you provide some more details? Do you dilute it before use?
