when Qantas gets number 3 with a power failure over the Bay of Bengal and a forced landing in Manila I can understand that poor cramped seating from Thai will be a close 4th.

Standards have plummetted over the last 3 years with Qantas.
The arabs will take over the world for quality 'cos they can afford it.
The little Irish fella who's taken over from Dixon is only interested in the shareholders and Qantas will soon become Jetstar.
    Shame, end of an era.

I suspect that this list is like the lonely planet books, at least 18 months out of date...

I agree about SingAir and Cathay. I have been Gold on both. Who cares about Qantas? The Camel Jockey airlines have been doing a good job for the past 5 years or so. Thai sucks. I know, I'm Gold on Thai.

SQ, THE THE WORLDS BEST AIRLINE AWARDS

    Presented by.....
Airbus Industries (can u take more off our hands please)
The Vague Global Farnarkeling and Yuppie Travel magazine (or what ever publication one of the family of directors SQ owns)

These awards are all crocks of shit BUT SQ remains a safe, good airline with digestable food regardless if you sit up the back or at the sharp end.
