Whay would anyone do with a R!or gixer 1000 here????
sit em in the lounge and polish them?
Neither the roads nor the traffic her are suitable for such bikes.
I used to race professionally in the Uk ( many years ago) and could not think of needing anything more than a R6 here --and that would be wasted too!
Wow all you macho wannabees with more money than sense and riding skill to match I bet!! I would piss over all of you with an old yam 2 stroker

this Ferarri inspired Schumacher Tribute Chopper is a bit different. It’s powered by a Triumph 955 triple which is fully enclosed by the Ferrari F1 style bodywork.
its not as fast as the bike Paulsmithson used to race professionally in the UK before he worked as a spy (see photo bellow)

Who's hijacking my thread up there?
just kidding
Impatience was again present today. Bought myself a new Phantom. Black with red flames. Wanted the gray flames but would have had to wait an entire month. All the shops aside from 1 (where i bought) within 20 km from here are on an order only basis.
So if you make it to Chonburi you will surely see a white guy with a smile ear-to-ear cruising around, stalling here and there.
If you guys have any advice for someone who's only been using a clutch for 3 hours I'd really appreciate it!
My problem is mostly starting to go and stopping at red lights. Also how do you remember which gear you are on?!!?

Just hold the throttle wide open and let the clutch out that will stop you from stalling and with braking just pull the front brake as hard as you can let us know how you went from your hospital bedOriginally Posted by engrin
Anyway good luck![]()

Congrats on the bike. Practice makes perfect. Should find a quiet road and just ride up and down. Practice starts and stopping. Get the feel of the bike. Brake as hard as you dare. So you know how hard you can brake before the tyre locks up. Good to know this.
Take your time and ride at your pace.
I'll bet you, that I can show you a camel, there can break all speed-records with the right motivation...Originally Posted by machangezi

Is a Phantom classified as a real bike ???

^ should be better than a Gixxer thou for sure.
Why don't you fuckers just lay off the guy, Don't you remember when you got your first bike?
He make friends with the dude with the Yam 2 stroke and he come up there and show you dudes a trick with a hole in it.![]()
Good idea BgOriginally Posted by blackgang
Hey engrin good luck with the new bike and hope learning to ride goes smooth for you. I normly talk people out of buying phantoms due to the fact that most want something bigger with in 3 months, so cheaper for them just to go out and buy a 400 to start with
What ever you do have fun doing it
No hope for you mate, you're past the point of sanity.....Originally Posted by Travelmate

Thanks Guys, I know you were just pulling his chain, but he might be thin skin, god damn I hope not as I had some scratches and rash on me when I bought my first one,
But that was a long time ago and we had mostly gravel roads where I lived in Eastern Oregon and a 1938 Scout wasn't to stable anyway.
Damn thats was 60 fucking years ago this simmer too.
Good luck with the new machine. As Travel mate says, practice, practice, practice. Expect the unexpected in Thailand. Even the most skilled riders have accidents.Originally Posted by engrin
Here's a specific question I hope you guys can answer...Actually I've searched how to ride a motorcycle and I haven't found anything really useful yet.
I'm approaching a red light in 3rd or 4th. what is the "best way" to slow down and stop.
Also, is there any danger or reason why I shouldn't go from N right into 2nd from a full stop?
thank you
Also, are there 2 Neuturals or just 1?

or
