Cheers. Yes it should be good. A few years ago I covered a lot of miles on 750 VF. Besides 1 small glitch (I think it was the timing thingy) it was brilliant. This one should be better.Originally Posted by Travelmate

It's in the UK. Do a month or 2 round Europe is the general idea.

Hi 3 bikes 1, Honda 125 FI, 2, Honda Super 400, 3, Beta trials 250 2008, last one only weighs 70 kg, can,t wait to trial the thing in Doi Sucket
^ WOW, got any pics ??

first 2 a bit boring, the Beta currently on its way to Bangkok in 2 shipments, if I get both thru customs a great bike, if not do you want any spares, shit!!!
^ You can get parts send here, not a big problem.

Hi Dalton I am trying to avoid 190% duty by stripping and sending in bits, if successful will only pay maybe 15 % duty, we will see whay happens , what,s the Bankok Hilton like then???
^ Send them as tractor-parts, most shops who import 2nd hand bikes do that, and the tax is about 15%.
Won't go to jail for that, but might get a healthy fine through...![]()
I just got a 59 Dneper with sidecar.I love it. Picked it up in Germany.

I spotted this one in Ranong. In the UK we used to call them Noddy Bikes but the correct name is LE Velo.
The owner claims there are only two in Thailand and frankly I am surprised there are any.
From the shape of the platform behind the seat I am guessing that this one is an ex UK police bike. Note the hand gear change, probably late 40's early 50's.
Lord, deliver us from e-mail.
