    Tim Russert 1950 - 2008

He was good at what he did. He asked good questions and I liked his style and personality.

Fri., June. 13, 2008WASHINGTON - Tim Russert, NBC News’ Washington bureau chief and the moderator of “Meet the Press,” died Friday after suffering a heart attack at the bureau. He was 58.

Russert was recording voiceovers for Sunday’s “Meet the Press” broadcast when he collapsed. He was rushed to Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, where resuscitation efforts were unsuccessful.

Russert’s physician, Michael Newman, said cholesterol plaque ruptured in an artery, causing sudden coronary thrombosis.

I'll go to YouTube to see Russert interview Cheney.

Was he throwing soft balls to Cheney?

If we had a cry smiley, I'd use it.
I really admired Mr Russert. He was a gentleman and really knew his stuff. Today, I've been watching msnbc (all Tim stuff) and other news clips.
Don't believe he won't be here to dissect the campaign.
Brilliant mind and a wonderful personage.
Bet he's in heaven interviewing dead leaders.
