Why does a teacher need to be "openly" gay?
Nothing wrong with a "gay" teacher, but why does one need to bring one's gayness into the classroom?
One of professors I learned the most from was gay, but I didn't find out he was gay until after i had known him for over a year.
If you are gay, so what? But why would some guy feel the need to prance around the classroom? I am not saying a gay teacher should stay in the closet, but for goodness sake, if you want to be a teacher (or any other profession for that matter) leave the sissness, prancing and floppy wrists behind before coming to work.
Acting professionally has nothing to do with being straight or gay.

The original questions was
"Do you think that openly gay men and women (camp sissy boys types and butch dykes) are suitable to be teachers?"
My answer is no.
Gay teachers, no problem, but all teachers whether straight or gay should act in a professional manner when around the students, especially if one is teaching children.
What you or others do in the privacy of your bedroom with consenting adults is your business.
I, and many others, will never understand the fascination with having a hairy man's penis up the backside, but live and let live I say. But is it really necessary to use every body movement to identify oneself with a particular sexual perversion?
What about a depillated penis. Smoother, hey stroller![]()
What is a "depillated penis"?
Tell us from your vast experience, jandajoy!
Well the last time you indulged me I felt that there was potential. You didn't cough as much as before.
"out bush Chiang Rai", eh?
Forgot your English as well as your manners.

this thread is like the little red caboose (sexual inuendo intended).

used to be a gay couple in town for a bit. They came on one of those six month experience Thailand as teachers packages where they paid too much money for living in a shack at a school.
They were as gay as gay could be. One of them walked around town in short short denim shorts and a pink t-shirt that said " I love COCK"
Dunno if they were good teachers or not. T-shirt was eye catching though

drivel per usual

Saying a teacher who is gay can't do a good job teaching is like saying a black person can't teach because he's black.

It did happen.Originally Posted by jandajoy

Can't remember what their names were now. Never really spoke much with them. Went to their leaving party though with lots of other 6 month teachers that had come for the experience.
They originally lived with a loud Welsh lady at the school as well - basically in the janatorial house. Don't remember her name either but I do remember she had a lust for 18 year old Thai men, she was ginger, minging and disgusted the boys by doing things like leaving half eaten cans of tuna under the sofa.
Agree with Jangaloy
All adults should be role models! Unfortunately most children spend more time with their teachers than their parents on a daily bases. For gods sake my 5 year old daughter is starting to speak with a Taffy accent! Had to ask her today 3 times what the hell she was saying.
Something about the rugby tonight or along those lines I guessed!
I agree that teachers have to guard against expressing their personal image and ideals on the children they are teaching. Not a problem for me, Gay teachers as long as they remember their job, place and do it professionally.
