| Yeah, the balcony height is lower than many parts of the world, but does it really explain all these deaths? When drunk, yes, a few might accidentally go over. But there really is too many, centred on Pattaya and Bangkok, which are not explained by a low balcony rail.
I have to say it is odd. Too many suicides/accidents by a minority in any society should set alarm bells ring in any government. The embassies really should be looking into this and bringing pressure on the appropriate authorities.
