    I recently bought:

    5K on a water tank
    6K on a 255 Mitsubishi pump
    14K on a water filter
3K on two fuckwits to drive out and hook it all up

All was well until I noticed a week ago the pump (in the shed) turning on about every 2 minutes. Just for a second. Then off. Even when no water is runing in the house.

I noticed the installers put the system in at very high pressure. I wonder if the pump is trying to maintain the high pressure even when nothing is drawing water. No visible leaks in the plumbing.

    Any thoughts?

Dalton suggested a cheapish draw-back valve ( or something like that) to stop the pressure from starting the pump again. Anyone have one of these?

Elec bill was slightly higher this month compared to usual.

Do you have a pressure tank?

What settings does the pressure switch have? (Cut in, cut out.)

How come my missus sister managed to build a one room apartment for 80k. It looks a bit shit but it cost 80k.

Going by that theory can i build a ten roomed apartment for 800k?

It also seem up my way that local builders don't know about gas vents for the plumbing... I've tried to explain this till i was blue in the face (through the wife of course) but i ended up cutting and redoing it after they were done.. and of course i'm an a**hole at the end of the day!!!!!

The bricks here are small, as to stop cracking of the wall , the big blocks crack really bad along the cemented edge and with the small one's you only get fine cracks .
Our house has bean standing 8yrs still only a few small cracks , when the out side was repainted a few weeks ago no cracks.
