    cleaning the roof

We have a huge tamarind tree in our front yard (the trunk is pictured in the photo below) and it was time to get rig of all the rubbish on one corner of the roof.

Not having a tall enough ladder, satirday morning saw me balanced somewhat badly on top of a ladder with a rake in one hand scraping back the leaves and twigs.

With my daughter looking on my wife decided to take her nappie off for some fresh air. Of course she decided this is the best time to get read of breakfast. Seerung reckoned cleaning the roof was more fun the cleaning up the shit so we happily swapped.

Cleaning up the mess, bathing her and putting her to bed took 10 minutes so I had plenty of time to laugh at my wife balanced on the ladder with a rake that she had since tied to a bambo poll for more reach.

News is what someone, somewhere is trying to suppress - everything else is just advertising.

As you could see there was a lot of muck up on the roof.

With the weather warming up we were both getting tired When we noticed some Witchaty grubs amonsgt the muck. We both had a marvellous idea and yelled out to all the aboriginal neighbours to come over for a snack (hoping that they would finish the job in the hunt for more bush tucker).

Unfortunately they were all sleeping off the previous nights grog.
