Yeah, the VP choice is critical.
But I don't like it because: the VP choice for McCain may be to placate the social-moralist-conservatives.
And the choice may be less focused on economic acumen and policy positions.
The possibility of the VP assuming office if McCain checks out, is very real. You never know at that age. Things can turn for the worse (medically) quickly.
