Doubt it.
did your mammy telling you to not try a drop of whiskey when you were 12 stop you?

and all of the people who smoked weed said it didn't worry them.
I haven't had the time or the inclination really to read through all the recent Ajarn threads and see if people are saying that they will now wear their helmets or not.
I would also hope that from all the nice messages and stuff that the deceased poster was held in a lot higher esteem than Grasshopper was.
really? he must be posting from the grave..Originally Posted by mrsquirrel

damn. i knew i shouldnt have said "1972".

Not a wind-up, but I found your comment below distasteful
Pretty much suggesting that because it won't bring him back, and because any discussion of the no helmet issue would to you be disrespectful to your deceased friend, the subject should be dropped. I don't agree. Brushing foolishness under the carpet won't help the living.also....he wasn't wearing a helmet but there's no point in wrestling over that issue. he's gone and no internet debates will change that.
If I die on a bike without a helmet you all have my full permission to call me the dumbest **** in the world.

It has all become very weird now on ajarn. The guy will be nominated as the patron saint of ajarns by next weekend.

Anyone who wants 10 instant greens on ajarn, just join and post 1 post saying you knew him back in scotland and what a great guy he was.Good one Nat! There is a lot to be learned from most of Rury's posts and pics!![]()

Oh, he already has

For St Rury's day we'll need T-shirts printed up with a photo of the great man getting his chill on / having a bevvie.

i agree. fucking pod people.

yes, willy -- even shirley has gotten involved in the competetive gladness of the moment.

i have known numerous teachers to do a term or three drunk, stoned or both. at the risk of being spoken to meanly, i wish to broach the possibility that perhaps the driver in question didnt have his wits about him so to speak. is this possible or are we to accept without question the notion that having recently taught a private is a clean bill of health?
I must say it is pretty nauseating to see some of the over the top backslapping, one-man-upmanship and high fives being dished out by posters over at ajarn. Special mention goes to non entities such as aging one and zehner. Of course it's sad for his family that the guy has died. However, before he had openly talked about drink driving and not wearing a helmet so who really knows what happened.
