    I think salaries are going to increase for those working at private schools and the decent language schools to the point where Thailand becomes a more appealing place to work. The government schools and the acronymic language schools will probably start to have real difficulty finding Western staff.
    What's the current market salary/month for an EFL teacher at:

    * Gov't school
    * Bilingual school and
    * International school

    * A typical 25 hours a week teaching *

    ^Typical is 16-20 hours, 25 is a lot of teaching.

    Govt school is now about 35-40k baht in Bangkok, Bilingual and private schools would be 40-60k I think. International can be anything from 50-200k baht, but on normally it's between 80-120k baht.

    This info is just from hearsay, the reality could be very different.

    I heard something different though.

    Upto 20 hours, gov't schools pay 35K, bilingual and private upto 40K and international is from 50K-120K.

    All wrong as far as I know, Government schools can pay up to 40 and so private schools normally pay 40+.
