    Talking New Job Site

I have started a new job site for the ESL community.

It features free job postings and resume searches for the employers.

For the job seekers we offer free job searches, resume uploads and online applications for jobs.

Join now and help us grow.

I personally do a lot of promoting and the web site will be huge. There is not a lot happening at the moment, but that will change soon.

    Thanks for your interest,

    James admin of TEFLPLACE.COM

    excellent.

Do you know the admin here?
He also does a lot of hard work to promote TEFL in the region, in thailand in particular.
I think next month he's going to have a charity event to help out the needy teachers.
Probably just a raffle, but beggars can't be choosers.

    No problems

    To tayto:
I did have some problems after uploading to dreamhost, but that was fixed and only a problem with my code.

I hope to only give an alternative to Ajarn. A place that everything is free for all.

You are welcome to try it out for yourself and let me know if you see any problems. Feedback is always welcome.

    Thanks,

    James admin of TEFLPLACE.COM

^James: You really have to pay a little more attention to the basics if you want someone to take your site seriously as an alternative to ajarn...

    Looks O.K
Would Teakdoor not link up with you.
I don't know much about website but I think the best way to get your name out there is to link into bigger websites.
Also a good source of teaching materials would be a hugh asset or a link to such.
    For example:
Best Websites for Teaching English Abroad
Free ESL Flashcards, Free ESL Worksheets, ESL Jobs, A Complete ESL/EFL Teaching Resource | eslHQ.comeslHQ
ESL Top Sites: websites for English Language teachers and students.
English Writing and composition help for ESL teachers and students
    Web Sites for Teachers
    ESL Forums - Teaching Community
FamilyFun: Printable Games (Word Search, Word Scrambles) - and More Family Fun
    Reading Comprehension
    etcetcetc
anyway thats only my 2 bob's worth.
    Good luck to you .

There are 2 places to just get all the job listings. In the header you can select search jobs and leave all fields blank. That will give you every job listing.
If you look in the footer there is a link for all jobs and that will give you the same results.

    Hope that helps.

    No Link Tayto

You have to have 10 posts to get links here. I appreciate the help and will continue to promote.

I see his footer has a link to a website that offers TEFL jobs in LoS. I wonder how Phil feels about the "competition" advertising their wares on the forum?

To the OP - given the above, you may as well go straight to the target audience and put a little plug on AJARN.COM

    One better

    Hey William,

I tried your suggestion and I thought I would do better. I put my logo on as my avatar. We will see how long that lasts.

    Advice

I was thinking about changing the format of my job site. The new format would be a blog style and the posting a job a lot easier. You would only have to register and then you could post a job. Simple.
You would not be able to upload a resume, but you could still apply online to the job available.

I think it would make it a better experience and encourage more postings. Now, it is a 3 step process to post a job and that would be eliminated.

Any opinions or advice would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    TEFLPLACE
