However, you can make the first move if so inclined. Simply ask him if he has ever said it or not. If he says "not" then I'll track it down assuming the forum keeps old postings. Since my handle was banned I don't know if the posts have been deleted. In any and all events, the bottom line is how these courses are marketed. It is with excitement and deception, not with educational purposes. You need look no further than the practice of luring in prospects using the help wanted sections of the newspaper and site itself. If it were an educational offering why decieve in the help wanted section?
I don't have much time this week but will contribute more next week if the matter remains of interest to you.

This is NOT a quote from kk, just my abridged interpretation.
Apparantly some places do require a TEFL (private language schools like ECC often will tell you, you need one... but it will depend on the person at the MoE). I
t depends on where, who and what you're teaching. Also if you don't have a degree you'll most likely need one most of the time, again can depend on who, what and where you're teaching.
PS. I did see a job at the Ajarn last week which stated, 'Teacher applicants must have a college degree and teacher certification to obtain a Thai teachers license and work permit'. And I'm not lying.
