I agree with you that the TEFL world is a pretty sad one indeed, especially for those practising in Thailand. I find this particular quote at the top of the forum most amusing.

They know that they fucked up so they might as well make some money out of the next people to do the same, as its all they've got left, and neither of them can stand teaching.

Being fucked up & unable to stand teaching probably describes most teachers in Thailand.
