Used to see you (often) on a beer run to the shop on Soi E? or F? when I used to live on Soi D3.
Think I met you in that shop 2 or 3 years ago, but I live at the other end of the village now.

I drove for the first time in Thailand over the weekend.
No problems until I got within a couple of miles from home and had to suffer the Bangkok sign-posting. Grrrr....
One of these.

When I was about 12 I got to drive the combine machine once. Thought I was king of the world. Drove one of those giant cotton picking machines as well.
Like to be driving one of them when some dumb shit cuts me off in traffic.

Here is the first ever holden ute
and a great christmas carol to go with it.
Dashing through the bush,
in a rusty Holden Ute,
Kicking up the dust,
esky in the boot,
Kelpie by my side,
singing Christmas songs,
It's Summer time and I am in
my singlet, shorts and thongs
Oh! Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way,
Christmas in Australia
on a scorching summers day, Hey!
Jingle bells, jingle bells, Christmas time is beaut!,
Oh what fun it is to ride in a rusty Holden Ute.
Engine's getting hot;
we dodge the kangaroos,
The swaggie climbs aboard,
he is welcome too.
All the family's there,
sitting by the pool,
Christmas Day the Aussie way,
by the barbecue.
Oh! Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way,
Christmas in Australia
on a scorching summers day, Hey!
Jingle bells, jingle bells, Christmas time is beaut!,
Oh what fun it is to ride in a rusty Holden Ute.
Come the afternoon,
Grandpa has a doze,
The kids and Uncle Bruce,
are swimming in their clothes.
The time comes 'round to go,
we take the family snap,
Pack the car and all shoot through,
before the washing up.
Oh! Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way,
Christmas in Australia
on a scorching summers day, Hey!
Jingle bells, jingle bells, Christmas time is beaut!,
Oh what fun it is to ride in a rusty Holden Ute.
News is what someone, somewhere is trying to suppress - everything else is just advertising.

I dont think America still makes that type of car. My dad had a Chevy El Camino. Just like the ute. The thing had a 396 cubic inch engine and a holley 4 barrel carb. It flew. My dad said it was to tow a trailor. But I think he was still out cruising after the divorce.
It got 6 or 7 miles to the gallon. Gas was 29 cents a gallon. The year 1968, the first car I could drive and it flew!!
Sure, I remember you. How is your little one doing?Originally Posted by NickA
Actually it is a VTEC. Hell, it gots leather seats, a kick ass stereo and pretty good gas mileage.Originally Posted by Fabian
