Yeah, it was nice to hear it pouring down in the early morning...

I understand the whole country is facing a severe drought in the coming year...

had verry little rain here last year, farmers round here been pumping from the ground for 8 months, day and night, many of the ponds are dry,
if there is a drought this year i fear the water table may be to low for the pumps,
just my concern, nobody ive spoken to seemed concerned,
they just pump away for a second or third crop,
life is what happens to us while we are making other plans

It's raining because I just cleaned and waxed the car. Forget what the meteorological department says.....this is the real explanation.

Lovely and cool after a few days of rain here in Rayong. Slept the last couple of nights without a/c for the first time in ages.

It's been raining sometime during the day or night since early Wednesday here in Chiang Mai. It's dark outside this morning and looks like more on the way.

Nice but a bit unusual for this amount of rain this time of year.

    true^

the rain was accompanied by very strong winds which caused a fair amount of damage to trees and some houses

we had horizontal rain blowing under our roofs into the house at one point, so we got wet! quite unusual

Right. It hasn't been just rain. It has been storming. A bit of thunder, too.

What happened to winter this year? Not cold, now rain.
