    Guns In thailand

Now my better half has just inherited he father's gun. some kind of .22 rim fire automatic. She will get a licence for the gun as she's inheriting it, is a civil servent and has relatives in the police amoungst other places.

One of the things I discovered after I got married was that in her youth she had a read deal of interest in guns, target shooting and winning the said competitions.

    Now what should I do?

Then she should join a gun club and enjoy. Plus she keeps the gun in a safe with no ammo.

The heading for the OP is a bit misleading, is it not?

Personally, I've only known one Thai that possessed, or even had interest [with guns], a gun [ex-gf's brother - Mafia type].

I've known and interacted with a huge variety of Thais in my day, and not one do I know has any close ties with weaponry of this sort.

Perhaps, I'm keeping the wrong circles.

That's right so be cautious with the headlight blinking thing especially at night because they take road-rage to another level.

    Where?
You see this for sure everyday, Dave.

Or...are you just exaggerating a tad?

But than, again, the chances that we keep different circles - and the chance that we hold differing paths of reality and illusion is great, as well.

No RS now you're really just trying too hard.

What 'circles' do you keep? Coconut pickers who can only afford knives?

It's one thing to defend one's fantasies and dreams, it's another just go park yourself off in some other 'reality'.

Yes I see guns everyday here, not hand guns but it does seem like every knut has a shot gun.

The wife,s Granddad has a five shot pump action, the brothers got a fucking powder musket thing along with the uncles.

Iv shot a few chickens with the brothers, but the old boy has promised but as of yet failed to let me loose with his.

Fuck knows what I could shoot with it,I did have the mange infested dog that keeps turning out the bin in mind but perhaps not.

Now I'm worried. RS and I run in the same circles. Not many guns here either.

A few homemade "shotguns" used to shoot critters but that's about the extent of the weapons cache in my village.

Reckon I better move my ass back to the safety of places where the rich, well armed civilized folks live.

What self respecting Brit would be without their pick axe handle. Where did ou get yours? Whilst every builders merchant and in bkk sell the pickaxe, as in the metal bit... In 10 years I have never seen the Handle to go with it. I ended bringing one in from the uk, which caused a few rised eyebrows when I checked it in at heathrow. Told them it was ensuring office meetings didn't get out of hand.

^Also a lot of avid baseball players in the UK.?

Dunno about your missus owning a gun, hazz. Is she the possessive, insanely-jealous type that instigates arguments a lot? If not, you're probably okay.
