Motorcycle carnage after car racers crash in pattaya

Pattaya: two maniacs, along with their women co-drivers, race down the flyover at Bali Hai in Pattaya caused a massive accident, killing one man , injuring many others and leaving carnage behind them

At 2AM Two young men, accompanied by women raced down the flyover bridge and onto the city’s Third Road., driving parallel to each other as each tried to be the fastest. The vehicles collided with approximately 10 parked motor cycles, which were standing outside a late night restaurant.

Police arriving at the scene found a Bangkok registered Toyota Yaris amid the wreckage, having collided with a taxi driver, leaving him critically injured and killing another man whose identification is unknown but is a Non Thai non westerner. The other vehicle is said to have fled the scene.

Witnesses stated that two foreigners were riding their motorcycles on the bridge when they were faced with the two vehicles coming toward them on the wrong side of the road. The two cars hit both the foreigners and a taxi motorbike before careering off into the footpath, dragging the motorcyclist and bikes with them as they finally came to a stop, having hit another ten parked bikes.

Two men and two women are said to have climbed out from the vehicle and called their friends who came in another vehicle and removed them from the scene before the police arrived.

The taxi driver was rushed to hospital for emergency treatment and the foreign gentleman removed from the scene for forensic testing

A detailed description of the 4 who ran away has been given to the Police who are investigating the accident.

Wonder if people like this give any thought at all to the carnage and misery they leave in their wake? Or is it all just a good night's fun to them with never a second thought to the victims?

Now you are equating a street race with one vehicle going into oncoming traffic to the average Thai motorcyclist going above the posted speed limit.

There are tens of thousands of Thais speeding as we write. How many are drag racing down city streets ?

thing is, this news story and so many others from the same source require a couple of readings before it becomes who did what.

    its almost laughable.

We had a similar " death race " here in the UK this week between a group of Pakistanis terrible carnage and all day mayhem on the M1 near to London .

M1 Crash: The '140mph death race' that killed two | Mail Online

Immediately after the crash happened the survivors began fighting which each other.

I suppose one has to establish who is the fastest , best at fighting ,, best at who can display the least brain cells etc .
