Motorcycle carnage after car racers crash in pattaya
Pattaya: two maniacs, along with their women co-drivers, race down the flyover at Bali Hai in Pattaya caused a massive accident, killing one man , injuring many others and leaving carnage behind them
At 2AM Two young men, accompanied by women raced down the flyover bridge and onto the city’s Third Road., driving parallel to each other as each tried to be the fastest. The vehicles collided with approximately 10 parked motor cycles, which were standing outside a late night restaurant.
Police arriving at the scene found a Bangkok registered Toyota Yaris amid the wreckage, having collided with a taxi driver, leaving him critically injured and killing another man whose identification is unknown but is a Non Thai non westerner. The other vehicle is said to have fled the scene.
Witnesses stated that two foreigners were riding their motorcycles on the bridge when they were faced with the two vehicles coming toward them on the wrong side of the road. The two cars hit both the foreigners and a taxi motorbike before careering off into the footpath, dragging the motorcyclist and bikes with them as they finally came to a stop, having hit another ten parked bikes.
Two men and two women are said to have climbed out from the vehicle and called their friends who came in another vehicle and removed them from the scene before the police arrived.
The taxi driver was rushed to hospital for emergency treatment and the foreign gentleman removed from the scene for forensic testing
