Whilst born in Newton Abbot, I went to school in the more chic seaside town of Teignmouth. I was in Chagford recently. I think its nice.

I agree. I enjoyed that area immensely, or I wouldn't have stayed so long. I did manage to get down to Teignmouth a couple of times and, as I remember, we used to shop in Newton Abbot.

Looking forward to the Turkish ones.
I spent 3 happy years there.
How is it possible to spend 3 happy years in Turkey? To me it's the land of fat women with to much clothes on, but of course people are nice there and the food is actually quite good if you know what to avoid.

Fantastic thread btw, makes me want to sell the house and go travelling again.

I disagree, pound for pound the women of Istanbul are amongst the prettiest in the World.
I married one from Izmir, but before we divorced her father told me he was going to shoot me with a gun.

why then did you marry a bint from Izmir if the ones from Costantinople were the prettiest, that's daft

...and where did it all get you? To Thailand?

(btw Effendi, the ones from Ürgüp are much better than Izmir, by far)

    Does this help at all?

The front end doesn't look right for a Topolino based on this Wiki page:

Wow. Looks like you've got it. I've been wondering about that for nearly 30 years....

I thought it was something out of the 1930's. When was that model of Topolino produced?

Not so fast. The windscreen in your piccy has more rounded corners.

There are a lot of cars that are of similar shape, Austin 8 comes to mind.
Really need a bigger piccy to get some more detail

OMG, is that a market house? I thought it was a church

Can I excuse myself by saying I have never been to that area?

    Yes, of course you can.

The only reason I knew it was a market was when I saw that picture and thought to myself
" Shit, it looks just like a church"

When I took the photo I figured it had been there for 40 years already, so the chances are good. Let me get the coordinates....
