    Cutting teak trees

So here we go, to make a long story short I decided to buy some teak wood to add to may teak house , essentially i will build a large sala and a carpark using teak to mach the house.. I have been buying some old teak wood aswell but i think that will go better for the built in furniture a bit down the line..So I started looking at wood going, all around C M really invstigating the story to see what the prices were like etc... Decided the best deal would be to buy some wood from basically somebodies private land who wanted to settle some gambling debts really fast. So i bought 40 growing trees as i only really need about 14 nice poles the rest i will cut up and use for the house, drying first ofcourse.... How about the documents to cut and transport 40 trees from one place to another about 40 km.. I was assured this was not a problem...... reading other post this was something that was definetly not recomended and was definetly going to be a problem.. Wich is really another good reason to do this..and really see how hard is it to cut 40 trees load them on trucks and move them 40 km and do it legally.... I have no idea how to post a picture on this thing please let me know and i will keep this going but pictures speak louder then words....

    doomed

if you are moving them within the same province it may be possible to get te correct paperwork

the best way to obtain teak trunks near Chiang Mai is from the government woodyard, up north. I did post something previously about exactly where it is

they sell off confiscated wood (like yours if you don't get the proper paperwork) and have a big selection of sizes
    I have reported your post

you cannot cut or move the wood durring the hours of the night!
    need permission from ampur office
    dependent on age
OK after 15 years i think

Thanks for that Dr Andy I have read all your threads from the past including the one about the confiscated wood i went to that place and the prices were very high so i went this route instead.. I would really like to post some pictures as the whole thing is done now i got all the documents needed and the wood is now at my teak house i just want to let other members now of the step by step in doing this and that it is really not that hard to do if you have the right conection. how do i post pictures? or maybe i dont have enough post to do that...

fuk me, I told you already

go see this in newbies, "how to use stuff on the board"

    https://teakdoor.com/how-to-use-stuff...a-picture.html

it tells you all, step by step

it is not obvious, but once you get used to it, no problem

Ubuibi, if you click on you picture to enlarge it while you are still in your picture gallery, then do a properties to copy the URL, your picture will be larger when actually posted.
