Thread: Things to do with little kids in BKK

Hi,

My daughter (15 months now) visits me once or twice a month from Singapore and we are looking for nice activities together. Any recommendations?
We have been to Ko Kret, various temples, too many shopping malls, a few parks, but apart from the Childrens' Museum near Chatuchak (which is closed indefinitely "for renovation") I did not find anything specific to little children so far.
Are there any suitable playgrounds or play groups that meet on weekends (she's quite sociable for her age)?

Feed the pigeons at the park next to Emporium.
Cook together.
Take a boat ride up and down the Chao Praya river.
Young children don't mind repetition, if they enjoy the activity.

Get a big cardboard box, my daughter will play for hours in it and on it and scribbling on it with crayons.

buy some cheap water based paints and butchers paper. Robinson has that sort of stuff.
