    Aussie robbed at Gunpoint -Pattaya

During the early hours of the 16th December, Pattaya police were visited by Australian tourist Ms Stephanie Andronikos to report that she had been robbed of her possessions. She claimed the incident happened when she was returning to her hotel on Soi 2 off Beach Road. Two Thai men on a motorcycle approached her and one of them pulled out a gun and asked her to hand over her belongings. Frightened, she did as she was told; handing over her bag containing 300 baht and a digital camera, then the offenders drove off at high speed. She gave a description of the men and a radio message was sent out to patrol officers, but to no avail as the culprits had managed to escape the area.

Well, 300 Baht will get those off-duty cops a bowl of noodles at the end of their shift - and they can take pictures of each other while they slurp. Lucky she wasn't hurt.

You would think they would have some video cameras set up around Pattaya with all the crime. How foking hard would it be

I'm just pleased that Ms Stephanie didn't get anything worse than robbed.

I hope shes not too traumatised by this and can get on with enjoying her holiday
