[PATTAYA ONE NEWS] : In the early hours of Thursday Morning, Pattaya Police Officers working in the Undercover Unit held a press conference to announce the arrest of a Pattaya Police Volunteer who was caught selling class 1 drugs. (Clear enough so far..) He was arrested at the JV Place Apartments in Soi Beokeow during a covert operation and was found to be in possession of 14 Yabba Tablets. (still following) Khun Samlan (Who, full name please) aged 41 was taken back to Pattaya Police Station where records indicated he began his volunteering with the Tourist Police back in 2004 but had his ID Badge taken away following allegations he stole a two-way radio from a fellow volunteer while on duty on Walking Street. ( OK...need some commas in that last sentence, but I think I can get the gist..the guy was a volunteer mall /tourist cop, but was fired because he was caught stealing from a fellow 'member') He then joined the Pattaya Police Volunteers (but I thought he was fired from the Pattaya police volunteers??) and was caught with his ID Badge, two way radio and handcuffs during the operation. Khun Samlan ( full name??) has been charged with dealing in a class 1 drug and remains behind bars pending a court appearance.
